When we first purchased our cape, I had difficulty finding other cape style home accounts on Instagram for inspiration. There was no shortage of beautiful Instagram-worthy homes, but there was definitely a shortage of content dedicated specifically to capes. Today, there’s a plethora of great content makers – here’s a few of my favorites!
I’m assuming you’re here because you’ve followed our account – but if not, check us out! @OurSmallCape
@NestingWithGrace – absolutely stunning ~1,100 sq. ft cape with pink door, matching free library, square pavers, and well thought out layout.
@UpdateMyCape – Holly is upstate NY based, and her account features extremely cozy-vibes, DIYing, & thrifiting. I’m super jealous of her basement rental unit flip and stencil floor! Oh, and her goldendoodle is pretty darn cute too!
@TheCassidyHouse – Colleen is a fellow Massachusetts based cape dweller with farm-house style, great DIY projects, daily coffee pours, and a new addition to her family – Chip, her adorable cavapoo.
@ThisOldCapeHouse – Dana is transforming ‘Marsh Mellow’, a 1775 cape on Cape Cod. Her garden posts are breathtaking and check out this bathroom!!
@Cozy_little_cape – CT based hairstylist. She’s got a light/airy farmhouse style, with an incredible new lawn outside and exposed beam ceiling inside.
@Our.Cozy.Cape – Not to be confused with the account above, this cozy cape account features coastal farmhouse design inside of her 1952 MA-based cape. Great inspirational posts.
@TheComfyCape – 1943 NJ cape – teacher, wife, and mom. Love her tiled stairs leading into her recently renovated kitchen!
@CozyRiverTownCape – Stunning interior & exterior. I want her blue door!
@Our1870CapeHome – Jonathan & Tori have one of the more historic homes on the list – they’re doing an incredible job keeping the historical features of their cape while renovating. Deep rich colors & antique treasures galore.
@CozyRedCape – another upstate NY cape who’s interior and exterior are equally stunning. Cozy farmhouse with vintage/antique feel.
@chalsens_visions – stunning 1950s county white cape with a striking red door on the outside, exposed beam ceilings & tasteful timeless historical character on the inside.
@CapeVintage1952 – As the account name suggests, Debbie has a stunning 1952 red brick cape, unmatched passion for her garden & antiques, and no shortage of al fresco dining posts.
I’ve also had good luck following the #CapeStyleHome tag on Instagram for inspiration. If you have any other cape style home accounts you love (or are one yourself!), please leave a comment below and I’ll be happy to add it to the list!
